PSD2 Developer Portal

PSD2 Developer Portal for Third-Party Payment Initiation and Account Service Information Providers (TPP)

The PSD2 Directive was introduced by EBA (European Banking Authority) to provide a platform to encourage innovation and competition in the field of payment services.

This platform defines a secure framework for customer data sharing and allows non-bank actors, payment initiation service provider account information service providers and payment service providers issuing payment instruments based on a card (named TPPs– Third Party Providers) to provide payment initiation and account information services, subject to customer prior consent. These exchanges of information between different actors are done through API (Application Programming Interfaces).

In the context of implementing this directive, Alpha Bank Romania proposes to third-party providers (TPPs) to test these APIs by providing a test environment starting with March 14, 2019.

If you are a payment initiation service provider account information service providers and payment service providers issuing payment instruments based on a card (TPP), please contact us on our Alpha Bank group platform Alpha Bank API portal DEV available in English language.
